We are looking for a seasoned floral designer with 8-10 years of experience. This a permanent full-time position. A Certificate or Diploma in Floral Design is an asset.
Requirements: • Have extensive floral design experience including core knowledge of flowers, greens and plant care. • Efficiently create and reproduce quality floral arrangements and bouquets. • Be available to work weekdays and some weekends. • Work extra hours during special occasions (e.g. -Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day), holidays and wedding season. • Strong work ethic • Must also be able to stand for long periods of time. • Ability to train junior floral designers as time permits. • Be a leader and team player. • Provide courteous and prompt customer service including taking orders for pick-up or delivery over the phone or via email. • Responsible for handling customer payments by credit/debit card and cash. • Speak and write English proficiently. The successful candidate will be dynamic, friendly and have a passion for flowers and floral design.
