The Sales Representative is responsible for selling flowers to both walk in and delivery clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing a solid customer experience by answering questions or concerns (phone or in person).

Develop relationships with customers.

Occasional work inside floral cooler – assisting customers & pulling orders.

Must have qualifications:

Cut floral product knowledge. Our team can add to your existing knowledge, but you already have a solid product knowledge foundation that allows our customers to rely on Apex for their needs.

Previous Cut Floral experience

Purchasing experience is a definite plus as you will understand the needs of our clients.

Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers.

Patience and positivity when dealing with customers and fellow staff in your sales roll.

Organized – we are a fast-moving operation – and timelines can be compressed. Your efficient and organized work gets you and the sales team thru peak times, and provides exceptional customer service.

Basic handling of computers – we use QuickBooks and Outlook

English comprehension and communication in writing

Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday to Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm) & Saturday (6:00 am to 12:00 pm), while understanding peak times (Valentines’, Mothers’ Day, etc) will require extra paid hours.

Due to the early start times, you must have reliable transportation.

Compensation:

Base hourly rate starting at $20.00/hr, following 90-day probation pay to increase to $22.50 and based on performance reviewed 6 months after probation period, could earn an additional $2.50/hr.
